Kampot pepper is grown in Kampot province located in the far south of East Asian Cambodia.

This is an area that, thanks to its seaside climate and geological conditions, allows local farmers to produce pepper of that vübec of the highest quality in the world. Not without reason, this pepper has earned a protected geographical indication, much like French champagne. From small family farms, we buy pepper under direct trade conditions that ensure a fair reward for every grower, and we are striving to promote this approach among other traders as well. Thanks to this, by purchasing from us you receive not only pepper of the highest quality, but also the assurance that you are buying a sustainable and morally responsible product that helps provide its producers medical care and education for their children.

Characteristic

It is delicate and fragile, after biting in your mouth, it unleashes a perfect harmony of exotic flavors.

It is markedly different from classic dried pepper. Green pepper offers Intense pepper flavor, gradually accompanied by notes of citrus and conifers, mutually interconnected floral notes.

Processing

We pack this delicacy in the highest quality directly in Cambodia.

Added to the green peppercorns is a pinch of salt bloom obtained by evaporating seawater. Salt preserves the freshness of the pepper and thus guarantees its absolute freshness. Thanks to this processing, the peppercorns retain the taste of delicate green pepper picked straight from the pepper vine.

Thanks to the careful selection that meets the strict requirements for the quality of Kampot pepper, as established by the Kampot Pepper Association, only the finest peppercorns are hand-picked. They are then vacuum-packed to ensure that quality and freshness are preserved during the journey to the Czech Republic, where they are further sorted, packed, and delivered right to your table.

Usage

Green pepper will be loved for its mildness primarily by devotees of vegetarian cuisine.

Try to combine its perfect flavor with dark meat, sauces, with risotto or breakfast eggs. Soft green seeds also go well with pasta, for casseroles and in soups. It pairs very well with mild cheeses, which creates a sharper accompaniment. This pepper is not suitable to be ground in the grinder due to clogging of the grinding mechanism. If you still want to disrupt its outer skin, use a mortar.

Package

We still pack the pepper in Cambodia into 1000‐gram bags.

Thanks to these bags, the beans retain the authentic taste and aroma of fresh Kampot pepper. In this edition, it is also stored in luxurious sealed envelopes made from extract paper. For its production, used coffee cups are employed.
